At Eni, we are looking for an ICT Manager within Eni Natural Energies in Nairobi, Kenya. You will be responsible for providing daily support and advice on ICT matters related to Eni Natural Energies Kenya EPZ Ltd. You will also plan, organize and participate in ICT operations and activities for both office-based and remote personnel.

The project also involves the construction of agro-processing plants called 'Agri-Hubs' where oil is extracted from non-edible oilseeds to be used as feedstock in bio-refineries for bio-fuel production. The Agri-Hubs generate income, improve market access, and serve as training and technical support centers, promoting sustainable agriculture, soil regeneration, food security and Kenya's decarbonization efforts.

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Support the business in achieving performance objectives through the planning, realization and management of efficient and effective ICT applications and infrastructure solutions, while ensuring information security and data protection.
  • Define ICT strategies and architectures in accordance with Eni ICT guidelines.
  • Foster the adoption of digital solutions in line with the Eni Transformation Program.
  • Gather and analyze ICT demand from various functional areas, with the support of Eni's competent functions, in alignment with business needs.
  • Ensure planning, budgeting and actual costs for information technology and telecommunication activities according to the defined time schedule.
  • Ensure the realization of ICT projects in terms of timing, cost, quality and compliance.
  • Provide efficient ICT services in line with business needs, adopting Eni standards and procedures for information security and protection, while ensuring overall compliance.


Skills and experience required:

 

 

  • Bachelor Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Extensive relevant working experience within ICT field in a senior role.
  • Extensive knowledge of information and technology systems, applications and equipment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of computer security.
  • In-depth knowledge of systems architecture.
  • Expertise in IT service delivery management, including external services management (outsourcers management) and relationships with HW/SW suppliers.
  • Proficiency in IT management, encompassing global budget and cost control, management of IT-relevant projects, and IT strategic planning.
  • Proven experience in leadership, management and coordination of multicultural teams.
  • Strong business acumen with a good understanding of the financial impact of IT decisions and policies, as well as complex business issues and strategies.
  • Effective communication strategy and messaging skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and crisis management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from design to implementation.
  • Fluent knowledge of English and Swahili.
